This policy sets out how Iona Cary Designs collects, uses and where necessary shares your personal data when you visit www.ionacarydesigns.com and engage with Iona Cary to use her services. It also details your rights in law with respect to that personal data.

Iona Cary Designs (“we”, “our” etc) may collect some or all of the following personal data from you depending on what is required to deliver our services to you:

When personal data may be shared?
We would expect to share your personal data where necessary to perform our contract with you. In practice, this probably will only arise where you ask us to arrange printing on your behalf with one of our trusted printers but where it is preferable or more efficient to ship finalised items to you directly at your preferred address.
We may also share your personal data where it is required for us to comply with law or regulation.
We will not sell your personal data to third parties.
How long will personal data be kept for?
If we have provided a service to you, we will retain your personal data for our records unless and until you ask us to delete that information. If you have communicated with us but we did not provide a service to you, we will store your name and email address for record keeping purposes but delete all other personal data within 3 months of ceasing communication with you.
How will personal data be stored and, if necessary, transferred?
The security of your data is important to us and accordingly, we will ensure that personal data is held securely and accessible on a restricted basis only. If any personal data were transferred this would be on an encrypted basis.
What are your protection rights?
In accordance with data protection laws, you have the following rights:

Access: you may request copies of your personal data that we hold;

Rectification: you may request that we change personal data which you believe is inaccurate or complete personal data which you believe is incomplete;

We also collect personal data using cookies, which are data files stored on your device or computer when you visit certain web pages. These cookies are used as standard by our website provider, Wix, and we use them to (i) remember you when you return to our website, (ii) understand and save users’ preferences for future visits, (iii) compile aggregate data about site traffic, (iv) analyse the performance, operation and effectiveness of the site and (v) to ensure the site is secure and safe to use.
